[vPostMaster] rimap problem ???

OK, this is probably a stupid question, but:

New vPostmaster install on a Debian box.

Everything appears to be working so far, but I'm getting:

Oct  7 13:03:06 mail3 saslauthd[24941]: set_auth_mech   : failed to
initialize mechanism rimap

and also:

Oct  7 13:12:05 mail3 saslauthd: rimap_init: no hostname specified

Both messages are repeated about every minute.

The /etc/default/saslauthd file contains:

#vpostmaster
START=yes
MECHANISMS=rimap
PARAMS="-r -O 127.0.0.1"

I'm not familiar with rimap, so before I start digging into it I just
wanted to see if I'm missing something obvious.
