I have just created a new recipe:

Allowing login aliases to expand to user+domain combinations (Contributed
by Sean Reifschneieder of tummy.com) -- Setting up the login sub-system so
that one login name can be mapped to a specific user in a domain. This
enhances the Dovecot ability to add a default domain to users without one,
by allowing any login name (short or long) to be mapped into a specific
user. This allows "bob" to map to "bob at corp.example.com" and "alice" to map
to "sales at users.example.net".
